Today was a pretty good Valentine's Day. Because Avrey is in preschool we got to make her 1st Valentine's Day box and treats for her class. I didn't really know about their party till the night before so I spent the last minute trying to be creative and come up with something cute for her. The store was so packed with people and all the Valentine's stuff was so picked over, but I think what I came up with was pretty cute if I do say so myself. I found a cute heart shaped box and decided to just decorate it with stickers, and for her treats I just did little bags of pink, red and white M&M's with a tag that said "Happy Valentine's Day". I let Avrey color the hearts so I she'd have a little part in it too. When Dallas dropped her off to school I guess her box was a huge hit...everyone loved it, and she was so proud of it!! When I picked her up she had so many treats from her class and I could tell she had so much fun. I tried to be a fun mom and made Avrey a cute Valentine's dinner...a heart shaped grilled cheese sandwich and chips, then we made chocolate covered strawberries. I mean what is Valentine's Day without chocolate covered strawberries. Dallas was so sweet and surprised me with flowers at work and then I got my super cute necklace. Man I sure love Valentine's Day...especially the cute Valentine's I have in my life!!
