My poor hubby...

Tuesday night I was sitting at home while Dallas was playing basketball with his friends. Finally around 10:30 he came home. As he walked through the door I noticed that he was holding his head and limping. The first thing he says to me is "I think I have a concussion". At this point I'm freaking out because I don't know what just happened. I had him lay on the couch, I got him some ice and medicine and as he laid there he started telling me what happened. I guess while he was guarding someone on the other team one of his own teammates came over and elbowed him in the face. Now he has a huge, bruised bump on his right cheek. The thing that gets me is the kid didn't say sorry or even see if he was ok, he just walked away. Maybe it's because I'm a girl that I feel the kid should have said something to him because he could have really hurt him, but whoever this kid is though I think he's an idiot. I felt so bad because he was in so much pain. I hope you get better soon...I LOVE YOU BABE!!!

Glasses...

Lately, I have been having major headaches almost every day for the last 2 months, so I finally decided to go to the doctor to find out what was going on. To make a long story short I ended up needing glasses. I went to the opthalmologist yesterday for my eye exam and my vision was actually worse than what the family doctor told me, 20/75. He also said that the cause of my headaches could be that I have really dried out eyes, so I need to add more fish oil to my diet and use eye drops. It's probably a good thing that I got in when I did so I can see when I'm driving, and hopefully this will help take care of my headaches. I ordered my glasses yesterday, also, so I should be getting them very soon!!

Called to Serve...

Bryson left the MTC yesterday, November 9th, to enter into the mission field. He will be serving in Tacoma, Washington for the next 2 years, and we couldn't be more proud of him. Even as his big sister he is such a great example to me, and I know he will touch the lives of many. Bryson...stay safe and WE LOVE YOU!!!!

First Post...

I finally decided to get my own blog. I'm still trying to figure it all out. It's definitely not as easy as it sounds, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
