I have a new idea that I'm going to try out. In the past I was really good about keeping up every month with things Avrey was doing, but as she gets older I'm finding myself slacking on it more and more. So I'm just going to start to post just quick little things when they happen..hopefully this will help me keep more on track. Here's some pretty cute things she's done lately...
- Avrey always says "I love you", but has never said it on her own. The other day we were coming home from school and the car ride had been pretty quite, then out of the blue she said "Mom...I love you"!!! My heart seriously melted and a tear even came to my eye. It totally made my day and made everything I've experienced so far as a mom totally worth it!!
- Avrey has always loved to sing, but just lately it seems to just get cuter. One day she was freaking out in the car so I asked her if she wanted to jam out...and I turned on a song (your body...Christina Aguilera). Ever since then every time we get in the car she will tell me she wants to jam, but it can only be that one song. If I try to put on a different song she will freak out. I didn't really think too much of it until I really listened to the lyrics. She has started to learn the words and can pretty much sing the whole song...so I've been trying to find a more appropriate song for her.
- She loves to sing and dance for Dallas and I. She will sit and yell Mom and Dad until we watch her. Once she has our attention she will walk around for hours singing some random song (some times we don't even know what she's saying) and dance. Then she'll want Dallas and I to dance with her.
- She knows pretty much all the words to twinkle twinkle little star, the ABC's, and itsy bitsy spider.
- I was sitting on the couch one day and she just walked over to me and said "what the heck" with her hands up like she was confused. It was so cute and funny how she said it.
- She was in the bathroom with me the other day while I was going to the bathroom and when she heard me go she stopped everything she was doing and put her hands together and said "good job mommy...i so proud of you" in the highest voice and gave me a big hug.
- She has started saying boobies...I'm not sure who taught her that, but its so hard not to laugh when she says it. She'll put my bra on and walk around saying "mommy's boobies". So the other day my dad came to pick her up and she walked down the stairs with my bra on saying that. I was super embarrassed cause it was my dad. Then I was picking her up from school one day and she kept hitting my boobs in front of the teacher. Another funny moment was I was in Victoria's Secret with her and when we turned and saw the bras she kept yelling "boobies".
