Merry Christmas...

We sure had a good Christmas this year and I can't believe that another year is over. I have to say Christmas as a parent is way more fun…Dallas and I told each other we’d only get Avrey one thing for Christmas and one thing for her birthday to keep it small this year. But, I just couldn’t help myself. It seemed like every time I went to the store I’d get more and more. We woke up in the morning got some-what ready and headed downstairs to see what Santa had brought. It was so fun to watch Avrey's expressions and excitement when she saw what she got. Santa brought Avrey the cutest little table with chairs, Minnie dishes and princess movies. He brought Beckett a bath seat, boppy, toys, and an outfit. Then Dallas and I gave Avrey a baby and stroller...which she loves! And if that isn’t enough leave it to the grandparents to spoil them too. Grandpa Berger made Avrey the cutest doll house ever, Grandma Page gave her a bunch of princess stuff, and Grandma Boyce gave her cute outfits, books and dishes. I got a cute new watch, perfume and cute shirts for the hospital. Dallas got a bunch of stuff for basketball and new jeans.
After we had our own little Christmas morning we went to the Boyce's for breakfast and presents, then we went to my mom's in the afternoon and back to the Boyce's for dinner. My dad and family were still in Colorado. We made it through the day really with no problems, but late Christmas night poor Avrey got sick and was up all night throwing up. I hate when my baby is sick and the feeling you get when you can't do anything to help them.
Looking back on this holiday season my heart was humbled just a bit and I'm just so grateful that we have the opportunity to give our kids as much as we did. I know there are a lot of families out there that can't afford much so I'm just extra appreciative that we are bless to do so and for the hard work my wonderful husband does to provide even more for our family. Thank you to all of our families for all the gifts as well. We are also beyond blessed to have such wonderful families and I'm extremely grateful for all they do for us!!!
