One Year Check Up...

I took Avrey to her one year check up the other day and I can't believe how big she is getting...

Weight: 17 lbs. 8 oz.

Length: 28 inches

Head: 17 1/2 inches

She had to get 3 shots and a heel prick. I was a little nervous because Dallas wasn't able to come so I was on my own. But she was brave and did so good considering. Dr. Sigg told us that she is completely on table food now and whole milk.

I can't tell you how nervous I am when it comes to table food because the thought of her choking scares me. And not to mention how do you know how much to feed them. But, I keep reminding myself how stressed I was when we started baby food and it ended up being easy. So I'm trying not to worry too much.

Once we got home we got a call telling us that the heel prick wasn't able to go through so we needed to go to the hospital to re-do it. I felt like the worst mom ever, but we went back and got it done and over with. Poor little thing did so good I couldn't believe it. The test came back that her iron levels were low so the doctor put her on an iron supplement.
