A Girl Can Never Have Enough Shoes...

This little girl is seriously obsessed with shoes. Avrey will constantly pull my shoes out of my closet one at a time, put them in a pile, and put every single pair on. She will find any opportunity to put either Dallas or I's shoes on and even her own. Majority of the time she's pretty good at getting the same shoe and putting them on the right feet.

Surprise...

A while ago Dallas got off work a little early to pick up a little surprise for Avrey. When we got home it was already set up, and Avrey still thinks it's the best thing ever. She absolutely loves her slide and she loves to sit on it any chance she gets.

Our Little Fishie...

We've been trying to get as much swimming in before summer is over, and Avrey can't enough of the pool. Everyday she'll ask me for her shoes and hat so she can go to the pool.

Sprinkler Time...

The other day while Grandma Boyce was watching Avrey, Daisy and aunt Ashley came over and they ran through the sprinklers. I guess Avrey wasn't too sure at first, but once she saw Daisy loving it she decided to check it out.

Our Days At Cherry Hill...

We've been having a total blast spending our summer days at Cherry Hill with Angela/Judd, and Shayla/Mason. Avrey absolutely loves Pirates Cove and she could float in the Lazy River all day long.

4th Of July Fun...

We had such a fun 4th of July Holiday, and it fell nothing short of being packed full of craziness. We had something to do every second of the day. We started by having some yummy breakfast over at the Boyce's, joined the Pages for the parade, went and saw Grandma and Grandpa Berger, went back to Boyce's to swim and Daddy went to play softball with the Day's. We ended the night at Grandma Day's for a BBQ, but unfortunately we didn't make it to the fireworks. Avrey only had one nap the whole day so we wanted to get her home. We had so much fun and can't wait for next year.

18 Months Old...

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but our little baby girl just turned 18 months old. Someone told me the other day that she is starting to look like a little girl now. In a way it makes me sad because it makes it that much more real that she isn't going to stay little forever, but I'm also very excited to see the little girl that she is going to turn into. Here's what she's been up to:
  • She has the most infectious personality, and can bring a smile to your face no matter what.
  • She is now saying her name by saying "Abrey".
  • She loves getting her back tickled.
  • She can count to 3, but always misses 1.
  • Little miss independent would be an understatement for this little girl. She thinks she is such a big girl now and wants to do everything by herself.
  • She has learned how to climb and get herself up on the couch.
  • She now knows what a dog, monkey, cat, snake, cow, horse, fish, bear and sheep all say.
  • She knows all her body parts.
  • New words:
    • Please
    • Thank you
    • Apple
    • Milk
    • Hot dog
    • Cookie
    • Cracker
    • Fishee
    • Bread
    • Cereal
    • Cake
    • Coke
    • Spoon
    • Wa-wa (water)
    • Shoose (shoes)
    • Hat
    • Sing
    • Slide
    • Chair
    • Stairs
    • Sit
    • Play
    • Ball
    • Potty
    • Poopie
    • Sleep
    • Bye
    • Go-go
    • Stop
    • Out
    • Up
    • TV
    • Keys
    • Pool
    • Car
    • Truck
    • Side (outside)
    • Purple
    • Ni-Ni (goodnight)
    • Papa (grandpa), Mama (grandma)
    • Binsey (binkey)
    • Brady, Ky-Ky, Lanen (Landen), Amb (Amber), Bock (Brock)
    • Kaiee (Kailee), Koda
    • Daisy, Ashee (Ashley), Ad (Adam)
    • Liz, La La (Bailey)
  • She's even starting sentences:
    • Help me
    • Ready go
    • I want some
    • Just kiddin'
    • I want up
    • I need a coke
    • I'm the baby
    • I go sleep
We went to her 18 month check up and it went really well. Here are her stats:
Weight: 21 lbs. 6 oz. (she was 21 lbs. 10 oz a week before, but lost weight because of her ear infection)
Length: 31 inches
Head circumference: 18 inches
Dr. Sigg says she is still as healthy as ever and nothing too report...which I couldn't be happier.
