18 Months Old...

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but our little baby girl just turned 18 months old. Someone told me the other day that she is starting to look like a little girl now. In a way it makes me sad because it makes it that much more real that she isn't going to stay little forever, but I'm also very excited to see the little girl that she is going to turn into. Here's what she's been up to:
  • She has the most infectious personality, and can bring a smile to your face no matter what.
  • She is now saying her name by saying "Abrey".
  • She loves getting her back tickled.
  • She can count to 3, but always misses 1.
  • Little miss independent would be an understatement for this little girl. She thinks she is such a big girl now and wants to do everything by herself.
  • She has learned how to climb and get herself up on the couch.
  • She now knows what a dog, monkey, cat, snake, cow, horse, fish, bear and sheep all say.
  • She knows all her body parts.
  • New words:
    • Please
    • Thank you
    • Apple
    • Milk
    • Hot dog
    • Cookie
    • Cracker
    • Fishee
    • Bread
    • Cereal
    • Cake
    • Coke
    • Spoon
    • Wa-wa (water)
    • Shoose (shoes)
    • Hat
    • Sing
    • Slide
    • Chair
    • Stairs
    • Sit
    • Play
    • Ball
    • Potty
    • Poopie
    • Sleep
    • Bye
    • Go-go
    • Stop
    • Out
    • Up
    • TV
    • Keys
    • Pool
    • Car
    • Truck
    • Side (outside)
    • Purple
    • Ni-Ni (goodnight)
    • Papa (grandpa), Mama (grandma)
    • Binsey (binkey)
    • Brady, Ky-Ky, Lanen (Landen), Amb (Amber), Bock (Brock)
    • Kaiee (Kailee), Koda
    • Daisy, Ashee (Ashley), Ad (Adam)
    • Liz, La La (Bailey)
  • She's even starting sentences:
    • Help me
    • Ready go
    • I want some
    • Just kiddin'
    • I want up
    • I need a coke
    • I'm the baby
    • I go sleep
We went to her 18 month check up and it went really well. Here are her stats:
Weight: 21 lbs. 6 oz. (she was 21 lbs. 10 oz a week before, but lost weight because of her ear infection)
Length: 31 inches
Head circumference: 18 inches
Dr. Sigg says she is still as healthy as ever and nothing too report...which I couldn't be happier.
