So, the time finally came and I built up the courage to put Avrey in her crib for the first time last night. I know it's probably crazy of me that I waited this long, but it was something that was really hard for me. It had just been so nice to have her right next to me in case something was wrong, so it made for kind of a long night. Every time I heard her on the monitor I was quick to run to her room...because I was so paranoid that something was wrong. Despite me being so worried she did really good, except she did wake up around 4 or 5. After trying everything to get her back to sleep we finally just let her sleep with us for the rest of the night. I know that's not a good habit for her to get in to, but I figure baby steps are better than nothing.
