2 Months Already...

WOW I can't believe how fast time has gone by...it's so crazy to think that my little baby is already 2 months old. She is growing up so fast and getting cuter by the day. She has the sweetest personality and is such a good little baby.

Avrey had her 2 month check up this past Monday and the doctor says she is a very healthy baby, which I couldn't have asked for better news. Here are her stats:

Weight: 8lbs 9oz

Height: 21.5 inches

Head circumference: 15 inches

She is still a little girl, but according to her pediatrician she's doing great. At this appointment she had to get 5 shots. I was the biggest baby and had to leave the room while Dallas stayed with her. When I got back in the room Dallas told me that she did so good...he says that she didn't even cry. She is definitely a tough little girl and I was so proud of her!

Also, after our last appointment we scheduled a follow up appointment to make sure everything was going ok with her reflux. After discussing things with her pediatrician he decided that the zantac wasn't working as it should so he prescribed her prevacide. She's been on that medication now for about 2 weeks now and things seem to be a lot better.

Here are just a few other things our little one has achieved:

• Sleeping: she is still sleeping through the night. We feed her around 10 or 11 and after that she goes right down and will sleep until 6 or 7. For the last little while she's been sleeping in her boppy on my bed. I probably should be putting her in her crib now, but I haven't built up the courage to put her in there quite yet. So for now I'm just trying to get her used to her pack-n-play.
• Feeding: She is now eating 4 oz every 3 hours. Her pediatrician says that at her 4 month check up we will start to introduce rice cereal to her, but for now just the formula. She is still on that stinky stuff, but the doctor does say that in about 2 weeks I can put her back on normal formula.
• Personality: She is getting quite the personality now. She is starting to talk more and more and just started trying to laugh the other day. She still sleeps most the day, but is starting to stay a wake more. She still loves to be held and will cry when you try to put her down. She loves her dad more than anything. He's the only one that can quiet her down when she is screaming. It's so cute because he will dance around for her and sing to her and she will just sit and stare at him.
• Things she loves: She loves her swing, floor gym, her binky, her daddy and mommy and bath time.

Avrey I just want you to know that your daddy and I love you more than you will ever know. We love spending time with you and just can't get enough of you. We are always fighting over who gets to hold you. It melts my heart the way you look at me when you recognize my voice and I can't wait to watch you grow over the years. We LOVE you little girl!!!!!!!!!!!
