Valentine's Day...

This year for Valentine's Day we decided to celebrate it over the weekend since Dallas had school on Monday. So, Friday night we went to dinner and the Jazz game. Then on Saturday we stayed home with bugs, watched movies and ate pizza!!

On Valentine's Day Dallas got home from school around 9 and brought me flowers...

And then we ended the night with a romantic

grilled cheese dinner...ah, the life of having a baby, being married and in school.

Doctor's Appointment...

At Avrey's 2 week check up we were told by her pediatrician that she may have reflux. He gave me some tips of how to make it better while I was breastfeeding, but after a couple weeks I had to put her on formula and she was still having the same problems. It's kind of scary because she gags herself and when she does that she stops breathing for a little bit. So, when she was still having these problems I immediately scheduled her an appointment. We went in on Tuesday and sure enough she still has reflux, and due to all the spitting up her weight is down too. She is now weighing 7 lbs 11 oz, which isn't good because she should be weighing 9 lbs at this age. So to make things better her pediatrician prescribed her zantac and gave her a new formula. We've been trying this now for the last couple days and things seem to be getting a little better. We are scheduled to go back in next Wednesday to follow up and make sure her weight is getting back to where it needs to be. So, until then all we can do is hope things continue to get better.

Back To Work...

Today was kind of rough.

My 6 week maternity leave is now over and I had to go back to work. It was so hard leaving my little baby girl...definitely harder than I thought it would be. It really didn't hit me until Sunday night. When it finally hit me all I could do was cry because I couldn't imagine being away from her for a whole 8 hours. In the end it wasn't too bad. I had a few moments during the day where a few tears were shed, but then I was ok. I have a really good team who made it easier for me to get through the day. But, I'll tell you what when 4:30 rolled around I was out the door quicker then ever.

It was by far the best feeling ever to come home, because when I walked through the door look who was waiting for me...

It's so crazy how much I love this little girl...words really can't even explain it!!!

Church Time...

Yesterday was this little one's first time to church. She did so good and sat perfectly through sacrament.

Baby Announcement....

Cute As A Button...

So I'm beginning to see that almost every post I do is about little Miss Avrey, but she's just so darn adorable that I can't get enough of her!!

Now that she's 5 weeks old here are some things she's beginning to do.

How cute is this...a couple of days ago she discovered her tongue, and she can't stop sticking it out and playing with it. She's also starting to talk...it's so cute how she will "goo" and "ga" to you when you talk to her.

She's also getting better at holding her head up all by herself,

And she's loving her bath time more and more.

These are just a few things she's starting to do and as she gets older I'm sure she will continue to amaze us with even more cute things. She is definitely the cutest girl ever and she has both Dallas and I wrapped around her little finger. Buggy: you are the love of our lives and with each new day our love grows for you more and more. WE LOVE YOU!!!
