Summertime Sweetie...

Spending time with this little cutie is always the highlight of my day. I'm so grateful that I'm able to have a flexible schedule at work that allows me to have an entire day off to just be with her. Summer has only just begun and it's already been filled with lots of fun. I got a Cherry Hill pass along with Angela and Shayla so I'm really looking forward to spending majority of our days there. Plus I think it will be fun for our babies to play with each other. We've also taken our first swim of the season at Grandma and Grandpa Boyce's pool. Avrey's reaction to the pool was a little different from last year. Last year she warmed right up to it and it didn't take long for her to fall in love with the water. And this year she acted very scared and would not let go of me. Since then we've been able to go a couple times now and she seems to be getting better with it every time we go.

Viva Las Vegas...

 It's crazy to think Dallas and I have already been married for 4 years. I guess that's why they say "time flies when you're having fun". Our anniversary was a couple weeks ago and we celebrated by going down to Las Vegas for the weekend. My mom was nice enough to watch Avrey for us, but it was my first time leaving Avrey overnight...so dropping her off to Grandma was a little hard for me. Once we got there we got dinner and went to a movie. We spent the next day shopping until we literately couldn't shop any more (our feet were killing us). We ate at Cheesecake Factory that night and walked the Strip. We left early Saturday morning and stopped in St. George to see Mark and Debbie's new house. It sure was a quick little trip, but it was good to get away.

 

4 Year Anniversary...

 5 years ago this month I meet the boy of my dreams, and 4 years ago today he made me the happiest girl. Thank you babe for the best 4 years and many more to come and...Vegas here we come!!

One Fabulous Mother's Day...

  It's hard to believe that a short 17 months ago this little bundle of joy, who isn't so little anymore, came into my life. Being a mom has been one of the most challenging, yet one of the most rewarding experiences I've been through. I'm reminded everyday just how grateful and blessed I am to have her in my life. I absolutely love being her Mommy and I am eternally grateful that Heavenly Father trusted us with this sweet spirit. I also want to express my appreciation to all the mothers in my life. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be who I am today. So, thank you for the example you guys have been to me!

Softball Season...

 Softball season is in the air around our house. Avrey and I love going to Daddy's games on Monday nights and playing with all her friends. Now that she's older this year is a little different. Instead of sitting quietly during the game we are running around all over the place.

I'm A Big Girl Now...

 We finally made the switch. We moved Avrey to a "big girl" car seat and she thinks it's the greatest thing ever! She is now sitting forward and loves that she can see Mommy and Daddy. She also loves that she can dance and sing with us.
