The Boyce Family Reunion...

This weekend was the Boyce family reunion. It was so fun to spend time with the family...it was especially fun to see those that we don't get to see very often. The reunion started off on Friday...we went to Lagoon right after my doctor's appointment, and boy was it HOT! I wasn't able to ride any rides, but I still had a lot of fun. Once we were all Lagooned out we went with Adam and Ashley to Cafe Rio! Saturday morning we went to the farm for breakfast and fun family games. Then later that night we went to the Bee's game.

17 Weeks...

This last Friday I had my doctors appointment, and everything went well. At this appointment they did my blood work...so in the next couple days I should be getting the results back. I don't do good at all with needles and blood so I was really nervous, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After they took my blood I felt all right...I got a little light-headed walking out, but other than that I was fine. My doctor listened to the heart beat again and says everything still sounds really good. I'm still feeling really good...I haven't been sick at all. At my appointment I weighed 106...so I'm definitely getting bigger.
I scheduled my next appointment for August 10th...and at this appointment I'll be able to find out what we're having. I'm so excited for this next appointment...hopefully the next couple weeks go by fast because I'm so impatient.

The 4th of July...

I know this is a little late, but oh well. We had such a fun 4th of July weekend. We spent pretty much the whole weekend at the pool, and enjoyed time with family!! The weekend was really relaxing, which was nice and very much needed. This holiday is one of my favorites and we loved being able to spend it with our families.

14 Weeks...

As of yesterday I am now 14 weeks! It feels like just the other day I found out I was pregnant.
The other week we ordered our crib along with a new glider/rocking chair...we are so excited. We spent the weekend cleaning out the baby's room, so in the next couple weeks we'll be able to get the nursery put together!!
I can't believe how fast time is going by. Before we know it the baby will be here, and we can't wait!!

Father's Day...

Happy Father's day to both our dad's!!
We love you both very much and are so thankful for everything you guys do for us!
Dad: thank you for always being there for me when I needed you. You've been the best dad anyone could ask for!
Mark: I appreciate all that you do for us, thank you for always making me feel so welcome in your family!

Catch Up...

So it's definitely been a while since I last posted so I have a couple things to catch up on...

On June 10th Adam, my brother-in-law, had his birthday
I know this is late, but we hope you had a wonderful day. We love that you're apart of our family!

BABY UPDATE:
On June 12 I had my 12 week Dr. appointment...he checked the heart beat and said everything looked to be going good. My next appointment is on July 8th and that's when he'll be doing my blood work so I'm not too excited about that.

Mother's Day Weekend...

This too was a post that I couldn’t post for awhile because for Mother’s Day we told our parents that we are expecting! There were many cheerful screams, a couple tears, and a lot of shocked faces. We started off by telling my brother on Friday (because we were going to miss his call on Sunday), on Saturday we went over to the Boyce’s (we called Spencer on this day so we were able to tell him too), and then on Sunday we told my mom and Matt, my dad and Monica. It was so exciting to see all of their reactions….I’m so grateful for the strong family support we have behind us during this crazy time. I love all the Moms in my life and I’m so thankful for all they do for us. I hope that I can be just as good of a mom as they are!
